Here's a great tip and trick for saving lots of time and finding sometimes hard-to-find things in the Sarasota local area.
If you have an I-Google or My Yahoo page - search Craigs list using Firefox and then select the RSS feed on the bottom right of the results page. Then select I-Google or My Yahoo.
You will thereafter have a convenient DAILY feed of all NEW results automatically displayed on your custom page.
I've been able to find and buy many items this way.
What makes it so terrific is you no longer have to waste
time searching Craig's list multiple times for the same things
because now its displayed for you every day automatically until deleted. (Firefox and I-Google work best and you can make your searches local only and as specific as you like)

Well I made my own laundry detergent from a bar of Ivory soap, lots of water, washing soda and borax. I made it during the summer and I still have many washes left. My clothes are clean -just as they were when I used store bought detergent. I can't wait to make it again, except this time I'm going to use a bar of Fels Naptha laundry soap ( $1 something at Publix on Bee Ridge). Anyway to fill up less than 3/4 of a big 5 gallon paint container it probably cost me less than $2 to make. Way awesome! And it was really easy!
